Rewards & Recognition

Every effort deserves to be celebrated. Here's how Gowbell Olympiads recognises outstanding students, principals, teachers and competition in-charges at every level.

Recognition for students is structured across four qualifying levels, from school right up to the country/international stage — plus two dedicated scholarships.

School Level (Level-1)

All participating students, except Level-1 qualifiers, will receive a “Certificate of Participation”. Level-1 qualifiers will be awarded a “Certificate of Achievement”, along with a School Qualifier embossed Gold Medal, Silver Medal and Bronze Medal based on the percentage secured in the Level-1 examination for their respective subject and class.

District Level (Level-2)

Level-2 qualifiers will be awarded a “Certificate of Achievement”, along with a District Qualifier embossed Gold Medal, Silver Medal and Bronze Medal based on the percentage secured in the Level-2 examination for their respective subject and class.

State Level (Level-3)

Level-3 qualifiers will receive a “Certificate of Achievement”, along with a State Qualifier embossed Gold Medal, Silver Medal and Bronze Medal based on the percentage secured in the Level-3 examination for their respective subject and class. Additionally, Gold Medalists will be awarded a cash prize of ₹1000/-, Silver Medalists ₹750/-, and Bronze Medalists ₹500/-.

Country/International Level (Level-4)

Level-4 qualifiers will receive a “Certificate of Achievement”, along with a Country/International Qualifier embossed Trophy based on the percentage secured in the Level-4 examination for their respective subject and class. Additionally, winners will be awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000/-.

Scholarships

Under the Gowbell Special Child Scholarship Scheme (GSCSS), a scholarship of ₹5000/- along with a trophy will be awarded based on the recommendation of the school principal. The Gowbell Academic Excellence Scholarship (GAES), comprising a ₹5000/- scholarship and a trophy, will be awarded based on outstanding performance shown in class-10 board exams based on the recommendation of the School Principal.

Principals are recognised for driving participation and building a competitive culture across their school.

NB:

1) CAT-A & CAT-B School principals are eligible to qualify for international conclave once in every five years.

2) CAT-C & CAT-D School principals are eligible to qualify for national conclave once in every five years.

3) Category “E” Schools principals are not eligible to qualify neither for international conclave nor for national conclave.

4) If the year is falling for International conclave or national conclave then respective cash award will not be paid by Gowbell.

5) Minimum qualifying gate for the principal and teacher incharge to attain the international conclave or national conclave — the student participation has to be 70% of the total student strength.

6) Minimum 30% from the participated student has to opt for minimum of 5 combo subjects.

7) In case criteria not met as per category A or category B schools, the principal and teacher incharge can still qualify for international conclave or national conclave by increasing the strength of combo participants or vice versa.

Teachers are recognised for their contribution towards building a great competitive atmosphere among students.

NB:

1) The teachers rewards & recognition is to be given based on the above category and their contribution towards creating a great competitive atmosphere among students.

2) Maximum participation from the respective class or section will be computed and a qualifying teacher list is prepared.

3) The total number of prizes is capped per school and will be rewarded once during the competition.

Competition in-charges are recognised for coordinating participation and combo subject uptake across their school.

NB:

1) The student participation has to be 70% of the total student strength so as to claim the rewards & recognition.

2) Minimum 30% from the participated students has to opt for a minimum of 5 combo subjects.

3) In case criteria not met as per point no-1 or point no-2, the competition in-charge can still qualify to claim the rewards & recognition by increasing the strength of combo participants or vice versa.
